Praying Mantis

I spotted this Praying Mantis as it flew at the Upper Macatawa Natural Area in Ottawa County, Michigan today. My first thought was of a hummingbird with it’s long wingspan, but I didn’t realize until it landed it was an insect. It was approximately 5 inches long and allowed me to get fairly close before it flew away.
