Spring Blues

I found these blue flowers today growing in the forest at the Potato Creek State Park in Indiana. There was quite a variety of flowers to be found there as Spring has arrived early this year.

I love these! We call them grape flowers, but I’m quite sure that’s not the correct name.
I like the clear focus on the flower in the foreground with the soft mirror flower in the background. What was your f/stop setting?
Hi! Thanks for your comments
) My F-Stop was 7.1 according to my camera data. Kind of an odd number, but I’m happy it worked
)
thank you…
In the UK we call these Grape Hyacinths (Muscari) and they do have a similar fragrance to hyacinths though not as strong. They are beautiful flowers.

Yes, these are grape hyacinths in the US as well. Lovely fragrance.
They remind me of a fancy skirt with a bit of lace petticoat showing beneath the hem.
Nice composition and good color.
I can almost smell them:)
I so adore grape hyacinths!! Marvelous photo!

Gorgeous! I love the colors, DOF, everything! Excellent work, especially for such a tiny subject
