Duck Reflections
Copyright Jeffrey Foltice
I discovered this duck swimming recently in West Michigan and found the abstract reflections that were created next to it visually interesting.

Jeffrey, you caught a nice image of a Drake Northern Shoveler.
drake northern shoveler? you “know yer dux”! around here itz mostly mallards — so i differentiate (when viewing dux) “it’s a mallard” and “it’s NOT a mallard”
That abstract reflection is totally awesome!!!!!
That is a stunning picture . I am totally taken back with the good photography you have captured!!! Wow
Very stunning indeed.
The picture of the Shoveller is very good. We get them in the UK as well.
In my local wetlands area in Motherwell, Scotland we have a few pairs of Shovellers (correct name is Northern Shoveller).
We don’t have northern shovellers here, but the reflections are indeed interesting.
very cool!
Interesting duck and reflection!
Jane
Jeffrey: Wonderful capture…great work…neat reflection and excellent color.
What an unusual find! The reflections make the picture unique.
A wonderful image Jeffrey, so crisp and with beautiful colours. I love the duck’s foot, it’s too cute !
Reblogged this on Tamaso ma Jyotir gamaya.
Fina speglingar. Trevligt med en bild på en skedand. Jag har bara sett en sådan fågel i verkligheten en eller två gånger. Jag vet inte hur vanliga de är här i Sverige. I vilken fall som helst en fin bild.
ps fungerar det att skriva på svenska?
Tack! Min mormor familj var från Sverige

Jag översatte din kommentar till engelska:
Thank you! My grandmother’s family was from Sweden
I translated your comment to English:
Fine pretenses. Nice with a picture of a shoveler. I’ve only seen such a bird in reality once or twice. I do not know how common they are here in Sweden. In any event, a nice picture.
Thank you for your answer! It seems to work pretty well with a translator. I use it often myself to understand English and other languages. Fun and exciting to your grandmother’s family is from Sweden. Where in Sweden they came from. Then you have relatives here, I believe?
Beautiful image Jeffery
