I photographed this peregrine falcon recently at the Outdoor Discovery Center in Holland, Michigan. I highly recommend taking the time to visit there if you are in the area.

Great shot!
What an amazing shot! I never knew what a Peregrine Falcon was until I read the book My Side of the Mountain. I’ve never seen one in real life… Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful photographs over the last week or so!
Wonderful.
That’s a handsome bird

Amazing birds! Nice photo! In the late eighties, I was a little short while in the “projects peregrine falcon.” This means that these birds, in comparison with other birds, it means something special to me.
What a beautiful bird!

Stunning!
I was out of power for the last 27 hours and when I started my computer and went to my reader, this is the first thing I saw, your beautiful and amazing photo of this falcon. Wow !
Thanks Jocelyne
I’m happy you liked it and happy to hear from you. I’ll be looking at your amazing blog and continue to enjoy your work too
I wrote about a pair of falcons near my work in downtown Clayton, Missouri in a June post. Check it out. http://deannagreensandgardenart.wordpress.com/2012/06/01/today-every-morning/
I love the photo you captured!
Great photo. Very crisp and vivid. Gives us a chance to look at this species in detail.
“crisp” — gret clarity. i’ve been seein’ more than usual “birds of prey” recently, but rarely know what is which is how is who. well, I CAN tell the mature bald eagles! and ospreys, but hawks and falcons? i’ll refer to your pixure to try to “get this one down”
