Cardinal Beauty

I finally had the opportunity to photograph Cardinal flowers growing in the wild. I’ve heard how beautiful they are, but seeing is believing. They thrive in wet conditions and that’s where I found these, near a bridge in a wetland area of Zeeland, Michigan today.

    Superb and magnificent ! What an amazing colour. I didn’t know the tip of the flower was blue and purple. I love how you photograph them, you have such a good eye for composition. :)
