I caught this American Bald Eagle in flight a while back in the skies of West Michigan. It wasn’t far from its nest and I was happy for the opportunity to capture the moment.
I was fortunate to find this American Bald Eagle today, and happy to be in position the moment it hurled itself into the West Michigan sky.
I found this mother American Bald Eagle minding her large nest today in Western Michigan. A typical Eagle’s nest weighs about 2,000 pounds, but there have been reports that they can reach almost 6,000 pounds!
I caught a great moment in West Michigan today of this American Bald Eagle guarding the nest while his mate sits on the egg(s). (You can just see her head peaking over the top of the nest).
